Bible Verse
Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security. — Jeremiah 33:6 (ESV)
Reflection
During a sudden winter snowstorm, my pansies got buried under the snow. Delicate flowers frozen, it looked like they would not survive. This is how I feel during life’s sudden snowstorms, when I get buried under burdens, freezing my ability to move.
In times like these, I reach out to God, Jehovah Rapha (The LORD Who Heals You). This truth in God’s name applies to our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Just as the pansies have deep roots, which provide the necessary nutrients and stamina to survive the snowstorm, we too can find our deep roots in God.
Dig deep into His Word to provide a foundation. When life throws you a sudden snowstorm, you can call out to Jehovah Rapha to pull you out from under your burdens and heal those frozen places.
PrayerÂ
Dear Lord, I thank You that during my times of being buried under heavy burdens, You are there for me. You heal my frozen places and reveal to me my abundance of prosperity and security. Amen
Daily Action
Make time each day to study God’s Word and hide it in your heart, so that during the storms of life, the roots of God’s Word will rise up.
