Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Frustrated that your walk with the Lord is not changing and you’re not growing? Been there. Done that. And that’s why we have Journey.
We longed for a group of like-minded, previously wounded warriors that we could wrestle this life with. We felt like we couldn’t find a spiritual atmosphere that prompted us and pressed us to be our best self. A group where we could be completely and utterly our ugly selves and still be accepted and embraced until we could walk a different way. We found that in Journey.
We’ve walked out of addiction, abuse, grief, religion, and sometimes just plain stupid. Left them all behind. Things we couldn’t have or wouldn’t have been able to walk out of alone. We found we could do it with a tribe.
We have been able to sharpen our gifts, tools, and weapons, and are becoming empowered by our testimonies, prayers, and intercession for each other. We have times when a leader becomes a follower and that’s okay. We all walk shoulder to shoulder, teaching, learning, and challenging each other for the sake of better.
We all have seasons where we can’t quite get our bearings, and that is what Journey is. A place to rest. A place to grow. A place to be healed, and a place to walk out our healing. Whatever we need, we know Jesus will supply it through this group. We are committed to healing, wholeness, and truth. That is Journey.
Are you longing for a place like this? Join us if you dare! You might not recognize yourself after a while. Commit yourself for a bit, and I promise others won’t recognize you either. What you will recognize is that you are becoming exactly who Jesus died for you to be! A new creation in Christ.
What Is the Journey Like?
Here’s how some folks in the tribe describe their Journey experience:
“The Journey has taught me how to truly listen and hear the Lord. It’s taught me how good and beneficial it is to sit before Him in silence and focus on nothing but Him. The Journey was the number one thing that got me through 2020, while my husband (who’s in the military) was away/in and out with COVID and riots, and reconnecting with him months after. There was accountability, encouragement, and so much growth that was built upon Christ during that time of being alone with my two kids and no husband.
“The dedication to prayer and encouragement to each other in the Journey is like none other. The Journey is a place you can bring all your brokenness and problems to and there will be no judgment. They see you as Christ does, and are ready to walk the journey with you towards healing. Being part of the Journey has not only changed me (my attitude, heart, actions, etc.) but also there is a change in my household. Because of my willingness to let God come in, heal and change me, it is now affecting my kids and husband. The peace of God is here!”

“In 2015, my husband and I attended Kerri’s live school in Georgia for two weeks. I thought I was attending in order to learn how to “teach” inner healing, I had no idea what deeper healing the Lord was going to do in me. After spending two weeks with the team, I knew this was a journey I wanted to embark upon with them. Since being a part of the Journey, I have learned what heart connection and living out of my heart looks like, having it displayed well by the tribe. (Although I don’t always choose to live out of my heart; a lot of the time, I still live out of my head, trying to manage my life through logic.)
“Each month, gathering on Zoom to be with my Journey tribe, learning from Kerri as she teaches, and doing prayer ministry with our team has taken me from being what I thought was a healed woman to a place where I have no idea where I am, other than deeper with Jesus, deeper heart-connected with our tribe, and hopefully deeper heart-connected with those we serve the Lord with and who the Lord has called us to minister to. Being a part of the Journey is a heart connection between a group of women who adore Jesus and are open to more of His Tenderness, His Touch and His Truth.”

“The Journey is the most consistent way to gain transformation into the image of Christ that I have ever experienced. You have to put forth effort to ferret out foundational lies, inner vows, and false refuges in your own life, but you have the help of a team who is on the same journey as you are. Monthly, you can have prayer ministry from trained prayer ministers who listen to the Lord and help you hear the Lord as to what He is wanting to show you to bring to the cross.
“The goal is to die (to yourself). Sounds fun, doesn’t it!! Jesus said if you lose your life, you will find it (Matthew 16:25). So as we “lose our life” (die to self), we exchange our life for His life. It is soooo worth it! And you make amazing friends along the way because the first step to any of this is to be transparent and vulnerable, so you gain deep, real relationships. God is so good to take us at our own pace. There is no pressure except to be truthful and willing. Kerri teaches us principles I never learned in church that are key to our healing in our inner being. So give it a try. If you are wanting to be transformed into the image of Christ, then this is the place for you!”

Letter from Kerri
Here’s a letter from Kerri describing her heart for the Journey experience:
We meet once a month for 3-6 hours of training/teaching. Leaders are given assignments for prayer ministry for either the month or the season as God leads. These leaders are experienced in both ministry and prayer ministry and have been involved in ministry collectively for over 60 years. A leader will be paired with each tribe member as God leads, based on healing, testimony, experience. They can minister the topic/lesson of the month and also walk strategically through whatever topics arise for their team and team members.
I stay in constant communication with the tribe and leaders regarding all things Journey. If leaders see needs arise that need extra assistance, they will alert me. They may counsel with me if there is something they are unfamiliar with and for topics where they deem my interest and intercession is needed. This group flourishes because of the vulnerability and transparency that we all bring to the table.
Communication in the Journey builds community through group texts, Facebook message group, email group, and phone calls that we keep info and intercession for our tribe/communities/families going every day. We also use those communication channels for daily/weekly prophetic and scriptural insight. These methods are not to be used as a support group. That is not what we are offering in Journey. It is important for us all to be on the same page communicatively, in that very often we recognize that we are not alone, but oftentimes what we sense or are experiencing is affecting the entire Body of Christ, not just our little tribe.
This group wants to help those who want to be healed, and train those who want to be trained. My main goal is to come alongside those who are seeking to be their authentic selves in Christ Jesus. We all need mentors and a tribe to grow, and that is what we are building here in Journey.
We (as a tribe) speak life and truth into each other about life-giving and/or destructive patterns we see in each other, and cause each other to rise in integrity, character, and in Christ. It’s a beautiful, painful adventure that is anything but boring. We all have the highest goal of healing and being healed.
We engage in community outreach, and we travel together to conferences, churches, dinner, fun, bonfires, kayaking, and whatever we can do to embrace this beautiful life we’ve been given, all the while recognizing that this life as a Christian is not easy.
That’s it in a nutshell but certainly not limited to. That’s a simple explanation, but if you’d like to learn more, please read on.
God Bless,
Kerri
Next Steps
We have people in the Journey from all over the US. Those who live in north Georgia meet locally, and those who live “afar” join us live via Zoom. We all get together and celebrate when our “afars” come to visit as well.
